The brief was to provide additional accommodation for a growing family, making maximum use of the large rear garden and natural light.
The proposed double pitched roof extension includes a large open plan kitchen/living/dining space on the west side, and three bedrooms/two bathrooms on the east side. The living space and master bedroom have vaulted ceilings and full height glazed gables, which connect these spaces to the patio and garden.
The staggered plan creates distinctive outdoor spaces relative to their adjacent indoor needs.
