This proposal for a new build home on a greenfield site in Co Westmeath, is a contemporary take on vernacular buildings in the area.

The design consists of a dormer style building with a mezzanine level overlooking a double height living/dining space, and a single storey bedroom wing, which is linked with a flat roof porch. The two blocks form a sheltered outdoor terrace, which is orientated towards the spectacular views and the rising and setting sun.
