Working within a very difficult shaped tenancy, two bar formats were explored conceptually.

A long bar running parallel with the perimeter glazing provided an opportunity for a dramatic large scale back bar in proportion to the overall terminal.

In contrast, an island bar created a far more intimate experience and informal pub atmosphere.

The latter approach was further developed and executed.
