Martin worked for the Sydney satellite office of McNally Design Group/Irish Pub Company between 1998 and 2002.

During this period, the office secured a substantial amount of new business for the Group, ranging from design and documentation services to full turn-key design and build contracts.

Working closely with their offices in Dublin and Dubai, Martin co- ordinated the design and installation of some of the most successful Irish Pubs in Australia and New Zealand, many of which are still trading to this day.
